Attendees are invited to tell a five-minute true story that relates literally or figuratively to the poem of the night, which is about wearing layers. ♥ John Lea ♥ will be at the event to read their poem LIVE. So prepare your stories and prepare your ears. 

Here is a shining bounty of starter ideas for true stories from your life about wearing layers:
-Times you wore lots of layers, times you should have
-Times you lost your layers, times you should have
-Times you wore layers like you were someone else
-What if layers aren't like clothes but like identities or characteristics?
-What if layers means peeling after a really bad sunburn? Gross! Don't touch me.
-Something about onions and/or crying your makeup off?
-Meeting Shrek irl & learning some kinda lesson about self-actualization or whatever those movies are about idk lol"
