Artist's Bio: A graduate of Twin Falls High School and Boise State University, Lara Petitclerc-Stokes spent four years teaching English for the Ministry of Education in Japan before earning her Master’s degree in library and information sciences from the University of Washington.

She has been a regular cover art contributor to the Boise Weekly since it's inception and displayed her paintings on the walls of the Flying M since they first opened their doors in the 90's.

Lara is a lover of the wilds and when she is not hiking, kayaking and sleeping under the stars, you can find her painting on her basement floor listening to KEXP/Seattle, KRBX/Boise and The Idles.
