Artist Statement:

I am a newly self taught painter, having only started in 2013. I use acrylic and metallic paints on canvas board , or stretched canvas, I then transfer most of my work to either brushed , or shinny aluminum. I find this not only durable, but adds depth and certain colors just pop. Painting Trees, or undersea scenes, came fairly easy , (I grew up in Seattle, Washington). My Life Dancers, came after moving to Boise . I fell in love with the fluidity of their bodies, and am now doing a series of life dancing paintings, each unique in its own way.
