Artist Statement:

I grew up in the high desert plains of Idaho between Boise and Mountain Home. Every sunset across the Great Plains is a fantastic display of color that always leaves the atmosphere lingering with a sense of true magick.

I’ve been sketching for as long as I can remember, anything from flowers to stars. I guess I thought that if I could recreate something, then maybe I could understand it more. Now I try to express my emotions back to the world through abstract layers of color.

Nature is always inspiring, therefore I will always be exploring the world through art. My hope is for these, and future pieces, to remind us of how precious our planet is; and to do everything we can to live in harmony with Mother Earth. Proceeds from this show are helping my partner and I rebuild a sustainable solar camper. Currently, you can find my work on instagram @lvvart.
